Our Metal Fabrication Capabilities & Equipment
R.C. Portable Welding & Fabrication’s custom fabrication metal shop and portable on-site welding unit capabilities are numerous. Our extensive array of metal fabrication tools makes us well-equipped to handle such a range of fabrication projects of all sorts and metal types.
Our shop and portable unit feature a ⅜” x 10’ hydraulic shear, a 200-ton x 12’ hydraulic press brake, an automatic band saw with 16” x 20” capacity and 24” shuttle that is fully computerized, a 60-degree miter band saw with 10” x 16” capacity, a 10,000 lb. automotive hoist, a 10’ box, and pan brake, a CNC cutting table with 1-¾” thickness capacity. Additionally, we are able to punch holes up to 1-¼” diameter as well as conduct pipe and tube bending, rolling of rectangular and square tubing, angle iron, flat bar, channel, and more!
Because of our expansive equipment options, we can weld and fabricate all metals. For our custom metal fabrication processes, we work with MIG, Heli Arc (TIG), and Arc Weld. MIG metals include aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel. TIG metals are stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel, copper, cast aluminum, and titanium. Arc Welds are mild steel, stainless steel, cast steel, cast iron, and structural steel.
